“Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Elton John, Eddie Vedder – they’re totally able to producing an album by themselves,” he says. “They perceive music construction, combine, snare drum sound, they’ve executed this eternally. So none of them want a producer – however they’re selecting to rent a producer.”
Watt’s foray into the rock realm received actually underway when he and Put up Malone – with whom he’d collaborated quite a few instances earlier than – had the concept to hit up Ozzy Osbourne for a single, which later grew to become Take What You Need.

On how he’s managed to achieve such a formidable listing of collaborators, he says: “Simply ask.”
“Once I requested Paul McCartney to play bass on a Rolling Stones music: silence for 10 seconds, then ‘Yeah, I’d like to.’ Simply ask the query! The worst that may occur isn’t any.”
