As fate would have it, it was the very episode when Anthrax  was snow bound and jammed in the Bundy’s house!  There  they were in all of their glory, Scott and the boys  with their Marshall amp stacks set up right in the living room!. “Bud” the young brother that won a contest to have the band perform was hanging out with his  ‘blond bomb shell’ half witted sister Kelly.  Kelly Bundy (played by Christina Applegate) was every rocker’s  dream come true. . With her long blond hair and her usual   mini skirt/high heel look, she had the bimbo groupie thing down pat. A generation of metal heads sure had their eye on the outrageously  sexy  Kelly Bundy!

As I watched the show my wife walked by.  “Watching that dumb show again”, She said while laughing at me staring at {Kelly} the screen.  “See that guy there in the house?” I said as a matter of fact,   “That is Scott Ian and do you know he happened to be in the store a couple of days ago taping an interview for MTV.” I continued rather proudly.   ” You can’t fool me” My wife fired back while grinning  from ear to ear.. “All of you guys love Kelly Bundy!”  My wife continued. “By the way Steve, did you know that Christina Applegate (Kelly) will be starring in the Broadway release of the musical Sweet Charity?”  “Oh yeah  I do remember reading somewhere that the musical is opening at the Hirschfeld theatre,”  I replied knowing full well that the Hirschfeld is on west 45th street and Kelly (Christina) will soon be performing right  in my neighborhood!  Just then for an instant a thought crossed my mind  , “I bet I’ll  run into Kelly Bundy(Christina) one of these days on west 48th street!”   At that moment  I looked back at my wife and blurted out “You know, I really love working on music row!”
