Practically three a long time on, former Gap bassist Melissa Auf der Maur has opened up about her tumultuous relationship with Courtney Love, and the “public witch trial” that adopted her exit.

Within the aftermath, Auf der Maur provides, the band’s fame took a success and the narrative rapidly spiralled.

The drama didn’t cease when she left Gap. When requested about Love’s response to her transfer to the Pumpkins, Auf der Maur admits it was sophisticated.

“She was respectful, however offended that I used to be leaving for her ex-boyfriend,” the bassist explains. “It was a number of drama, however I’ve lengthy mentioned that Gap was my Bachelors in humanity and the Pumpkins was my Masters in music.
